SUNBEAM ALPINE
Convertible - (1966)
1966 Sunbeam Alpine Series V Manual/Overdrive in Signal Red with black interior, black hood and tonneau. The final version of the Sunbeam Alpine had a new five-bearing 1,725 cc (105.3 cu in) engine with twin Zenith-Stromberg semi-downdraught carburettors producing 93 bhp and retained the series IV rear styling with the fins largely removed. This Sunbeam was first registered in May 1966 to a Mr Charles Lewis of Nottingham as shown in the original buff logbook. The car is an older restoration with invoices on file from 2013 and has covered less than 200 miles since as it has been kept in dry storage. The restoration is still in very good condition with the paint and chrome all still bright. This is a good solid usable Sunbeam that drove extremely well on test drive with a good strong engine and a smooth gearbox with working overdrive. The car comes with a small history folder with some old invoices and MOTs and a workshop manual. A very attractive looking car that is ready to be used and enjoyed in new hands. If you are looking for a car that is ready to enjoy then this is well worth a look. Viewing is highly recommended. Absolutely any inspection welcome. Please call us for any more information.
