MORRIS EIGHT SERIES
Convertible - (1937)
1937 Morris 8 Tourer. Finished in Connaught Green with mulberry upholstery hood and side screens. Registered in June 1937, this charming Morris Eight Tourer presents extremely well. The Morris Eight was a small family car with a production run from 1935 to 1948. Its inspiration coming from the popularity of the Ford Model Y. The success of the Eight enabled Morris to regain its position as Britain’s largest motor manufacturer. Compared to its peers, the Morris Eight was a well equipped car with the driver being provided with a full set of instruments including a speedometer with a built in odometer, oil pressure and fuel level gauges and an ammeter. This Morris comes with discreetly fitted indicators, recon engine and clutch.
Upon a 20 mile test drive this lovely Morris 8 performed just as she should with a strong engine and smooth gearbox. Comes with it's original buff logbook, a few old invoices and MOTs. This lovely Morris has plenty of love to give and is ready to be enjoyed for outings and a show season if we do ever get one. MOT and tax exempt. Absolutely any inspection is welcome.
